The unit came packaged well. Installations is instructions are very minimalistic. I called the support number and left a message needing assistance but have not received a call back. I can not finish installation. The product seems well built but support and documentation need work.
UPDATE:
Evidently I misunderstood Empava's comments about the warranty. After a sensible, but ineffective, attempt to fix a leak problem (fiberglass repair) Empava has offered to replace the tub entirely. The support is truly appreciated as we love this tub.
The original problem was a leak due to cracked plastic coating on the back side of the waterfall. I tried to fix it with fiberglass repair but it just made the cracks spread to other areas. My guess it that this was a manufacturing issue that didn't appear until a few months of use.
Just had our kitchen remodeled and went with the Empava 30" 400CFM hood vent, professionally installed, properly vented, etc and it simply doesnt work. Beyond loud with very little suction. Checked the Dampers which are ok. going back and forth with Empava support is not helping. Even if it gets replaced, I still have to pay 500-1000 for labor to take that one out and replace.
I purchased an Empava free-standing tub that came with chrome fixtures; I wanted brushed nickel. I changed them out prior to installation and I am beyond pleased with both look and function.
Bought from Home Depot, really nice unit just wish the lights were brighter. The cardboard template is spot on. We love the simplicity.
We chose the Empava EMPV-30RH13 Range hood primarily for its styling. We really like the curved corners and that the entire outer housing is fully welded into a seamless body. It looks great in our kitchen.
We found the supplied LED bulbs to be too dim and have replaced them with brighter daylight units.
Operation is very straight forward. We typically run the unit at F1 which is sufficient as F4 is fairly loud.
Cleaning is very easy and the filters are easily removed for washing in the dishwasher.
Installation was straight forward as we have an in-wall vertical duct that lined up perfectly with the top outlet.
The only problem I encountered was attaching the outlet collar to the body. The holes in the outer housing stainless did not align well with the motor housing holes and I could not get the screws to engage. I overcame this by enlarging the holes in the outer housing.
We have now been using our EMPV-IDC30 for 2 years and overall are satisfied with the performance of the unit. However, there are two things that are making us consider searching for a replacement.
We spent a fair amount of time selecting our cooktop. We found the Empava line and were impressed with the features, specifications and reviews.
One key feature for us in choosing this particular model was the pot size capacity for each burner. Our induction cookware has a handy saucepan that would only work on the EMPV-IDC30 because of its small contact diameter. The other model 30EC02 had a larger minimum size.
The specifications and website provide the following information:
“The EMPV-IDC30 features one 10 in. heating element up to 2700-Watt, one 8 in. heating element up to 2500-Watt, one 7 in. heating element up to 2000-Watt and one 6 in. heating element up to 1800-Watt in Power Boost Mode up to 5 minutes.”
In reality, while the circles on the cooktop are the specified size, the induction elements under the glass are all 7-1/2 inches in diameter. (I had a need to open the unit as the power cord orientation needed to be turned 180 degrees and Empava Support provided a how-to video.)
The small induction elements is very notable as seen in this photo of a large skillet on the 10 inch heating element. The water is starting to boil and the circle of bubbles is considerably smaller (approx. 7 inches).
The only way we can cook pancakes is one at a time. With 4 pancakes the inner area of each pancake will char before the outer edge is cooked.
It is a similar issue when trying to simmer anything in a pot or pan with a diameter larger than 7-1/2 inches. Constant stirring is required.
Cooking at levels 1, 2, or 3 is achieve by cycling the heating element off and on, in a manner similar to microwave ovens. It works OK.
The other thing with the burners all being identical sizes is any pot will work on any burner. Maybe a good thing. The only size detection seems to be that there is a pot on the burner.
Another problem for me is that the power level displays are so dim that they are nearly impossible to read. I will sometimes turn off the range hood light in order to see them.
I have this cooktop installed in my camper do. It heats consistently and quickly. It’s sleek and looks amazing. I highly recommend it
The bathtub is visually stunning and adds a nice touch to the bathroom, but there are a few design flaws worth noting. The main faucet leaks water outside the tub when the flow is set to a low level. Additionally, the top edge of the tub is angled in a way that causes water to flow onto the floor instead of back into the tub—a design oversight that could have been avoided. Another issue to watch out for is when using the jets for the first time; unless you adjust the flow by turning the jets counterclockwise, the spray may soak your entire bathroom.
On the positive side, the tub is easy to install, comes preassembled, and is overall a great addition. However, I had to spend extra money to purchase a better faucet for the center. While it looks beautiful, the functionality leaves room for improvement.
Got these for a client, she was very happy with the look of it. I ordered the wrong finish but costumer support was on point with arranging a return, luckily my client ended up loving the finish that I got. I would highly recommend Empava to any future costumers!
Tub came in by ABF Freight, Packed well, however the pump motor mount had broken free from the 1” square tub it was spot welded to. Repaired with three screws. Upon installation, one supply line wouldn’t stop leaking, faulty hose. Plumber replaced the hose to resolve the leak.
After those items, my wife and I used it last evening. Love the whirlpool tub and both were able to sit in at the same time.
Good purchase.
The jacuzzi has a perfect finish, combined with brush nickel set, excellent. Shipping not so satisfied. It was wrongly handle and needed some adjustment of the covers.
Thank you for your review! We're glad to hear that you love the look of our 72' Alcove Whirlpool LED Bathtub for 2 Persons with Left Drain. We apologize for any inconvenience with the shipping and will make sure to address this issue to ensure a smoother delivery process in the future. Thank you for your feedback and we hope you continue to enjoy your new jacuzzi!
This tub is a refuge from the matrix. I recommend buying a 1500 watt emergence heater to raise and keep it hot at will. I have no complaints other than the touch pad being sensitive to water. Just dry it before using the control pad.
I like it it’s a little narrower than my other one the jet it fits me perfectly but my hubby that’s 7 ft and 300 lb lol no but he can sit in it once LOL but covers push on your back but that’s okay they are wonderful u can turn the pressure up for down the feet one are amazing.! I definitely will be boxing in this tub in it will just look a lot better it has LED lights red blue green white u can pick or have it rotate colors it has a heater to keep water warm idk if u can choose temperature usually goes to 100 or something I think had the air bubbles that come from the bottom also has waterfall and jets of course wish the ones lower by the drain would be positioned differently for my side of the leg but that’s okay!
I am extremely happy with my purchase 67in Bathtub from ibathtub. The quality of the product is impressive. I was a little concerned with the glass front but it's built very well. The jets are powerful and adjustable to fit your needs. It was shipped quickly and came undamaged. I highly recommend this company and this Bathtub!
love the tub, did allot of research before i purchased i would like to answer the questions i had that i was searching for and maybe this will help you. this unit does require 2 dedicated 15amp breakers, one for the pump and one for the heater. you can shut off the waterfall and just use the jets and visa versa but you can only get either or at full strength, turning it half way you will get both but at low strength. there is 4 colored led lights. blue, green red and white, you can have any of them continuous on or there is a mix of all. i set up ours as a basin for the wall shower and it works well. the tub fits me pretty good., 6' 190pds. i really enjoy it. the control panel is pretty easy to work. only down side is you can not turn off the lights. power comes on and the lights stay on
very pleased with the purchase, please do keep in mind to hook it up outside and run it filled with water to insure all fittings dont leak and are tight
Love the shape of this tub! It hugs you and is so comfy. I do wish we went a little bigger for our space, but honestly for our body size . it works great. A trick I learned from my aunt was to insulate the hollow walls before installing to keep your water warm for hours. It really works great and was super easy!
This is a product recommended by my friend, it is very easy to clean and I love this tub
I'm thrilled with the spaciousness and overall design of this bathtub; it makes bath time a pure delight.
I love the tub, its beautiful and light weight. Easy to install. The bubbles are great and love the LED lights. The only downfall is the waterfalls make a mess and I can't figure out how to turn the jets on while turning the waterfalls off. This tub is narrow, but I dont mind because it takes less water to fill it.
Beautiful tub, holds temp well, easy to install. The jets are not very strong but do the job. Overall very satisfied.
This was the tub we were looking for! It's a great use of space and the size we needed. I'm 5'10 and my husband is 6'4" - we fit! It's deep, it feels like a real bath. I love the shower feature and the jet pressure! I have no complaints. We have 4 kids and this was our gift to ourselves :)
