This toiletpaper holder is much better than a traditional holder that almost always losens over time, and that is because it's a smart design made to making the taking away or adding a new roll process as simple as it gets. Not only that, it's self-adhesive anchoring is extremely strong, and made to make it possible to mount in places that would normally be extremely difficult, and worse still, a royal mess. It also matches the color of the corresponding towel rack holders in the same bathroom. The snapshot I included shows the old el'cheapie holder on its last leg, compared to the new replacement. I have a small half bath where the toilet is fairly close to the vanity. There was a toilet paper holder mounted on the vanity that was kind of bulky. It had the spring-loaded roller that for some reason always wanted to shoot across the room if you didn't get it just right. This solved the problem! I was unsure of how good it would stick to the vanity as it does not screw on but sticks on with heavy duty tape. Just peal the backing off and stick it on. The finish is a nice matte black that doesn't clash with the other fixtures in the bathroom. Overall this is a nice product that will last for years and it was easy to install without tools.

I'm a little nervous about this one, hence the 4 stars and not 5. I bought this to initally place on the wall near my toilet as a holder for an extra roll of paper since reaching into the cabinet under the sink is a bit of an awkward placement. First..the adhesive seems to be super strong. So strong it was almost difficult to remove the plastic film. It recommends heating it with a hair dryer but i ended up not needing to do that. It also states it is good to be hung on glass, tile, mirrors, etc but no mention of wood. For that reason, I decided to mount it on the side of the toilet where it's easy to reach but wouldnt cause damage to my walls that you could see should I remove it later. With that said, it is very secure and serves its purpose.
