This is my second Empava tub. First one installed at previous house and had jets. This one without jets. Very attractive, small soaking tub. I weigh 200lbs and I find it plenty big enough (I was 260 when I had the old tub and still plenty big enough). Having the seat is perfect. Not a tub to stretch out in. I am 76 and disabled but can still get in and out ok by holding onto both sides of the tub. Installed hardware is good looking and very functional. First three pictures are of the new tub (no jets) the last two are of the previous house and the tub has jets.

REASON FOR CHOOSING Empava over WALK IN (twice)
I had a walk in tub at a previous house and still chose the Empava over another walk in. Didn't like sitting and waiting for tub to fill and also, if I needed to get out in a hurry had to sit and wait for tub to empty before I could open the door.

I couldn't be more pleased with the two purchases of this tub. Only downside - it creaks when you get into the tub.

I looks great and has wonderful features!!

Pros to seat: Space for larger folks to stretch out, easily soak legs, less water. Con: Not submerged. The Japanese soaking portion of the tub is at the front where you slide down, bend your legs and submerge yourself from the neck up. It is comfortable if you are fine balling up a little- this 59" model has space. We insulated our tub and it stays warm a long time. The spray wand is a nice for cleaning and hair washing. 4 stars since the company is not responsive & tub is on 4 metal posts

The tub is smaller than imagined but it is lightweight and the contractor did not have any problem with installing. The jets are very powerful and if you fill water too high it splashes everywhere. I put a backsplash. The seat is too high so you are not as submerged as I would have liked. I'm only 5'2. Your legs would not be able to get very stretched. Not enough comfort for the legs in my humble opinion . But it is beautiful.

The 0.5 HP water pump runs quite smoothly without making our entire floor vibrate. Truly impressed.

Perfect entry height. Getting in and out feels entirely secure because the fiberglass base doesn't shift or bend.

The integrated spillway gives total peace of mind. I don't have to panic about accidental flooding while it fills.

The water distribution through the 48 nozzles is perfectly balanced. It creates an even blanket of relaxing bubbles.

I compared air-bath setups for weeks and this model delivered the absolute best features for this price bracket.

Zero leaks under the floorboards, straightforward leveling process, and a thoroughly satisfying air massage experience all around.
