I changed out an older gas top and needed the larger footprint to cover the cutout. This one is about two inches larger than most 30-inch models. The thing I like the most is how low you adjust the heat too. On its lowest setting, the flame is just enough to keep the food warm. The big burner in the middle will boil water in a hurry. It is a great stove at a good price

I was pleasantly surprised when I received this cooktop!! First thing I checked was the knobs coz I love durable knobs and they can avoid the pain of replacing plastic shafts/knobs. These knob shafts are metal ,screwed in and oh what a relief!!
Im so so happy ! I also enjoy the 6 burners and ability to use middle burner as grill plate. Overall satisfied.
