Our home has a older chimney which the gas furnace and gas water heater vent through. Unfortunately the chimney is starting to deteriorate from old age and from time to time I get the faint smell of gas coming back into a empty upstairs room. I plan on using this flu extension to run a new line inside the chimney taking the gases outside of our home. This product feels solid and flexible enough to allow me to fix my issues. The Flu Extension is just under 6" wide and has a overall length of around 6 feet.

This is lightweight, and not rigid. I prefer the stronger solid metal Flue over this thin expandable one. I would worry about fumes escaping the thin exterior material. However you cannot poke your finger through the material. it is somewhat stronger than it appears to be. This would be great to use for air circulation in a green house.

This is a very general and lightweight flue extension. It can be used for multiple purposes. However, given the lightness of the wall, I would not use it for main large gas appliances. For smaller appliances you may use this. The item ships already coiled tight and it has a lightweight extension. This is very light and weak.

I replaced the exhaust hose on my Gas Dryer . The old hose had seen better days and was wearing from being cleaned out . This section is thicker and installed easily.

It is a nice flex pipe made of good material, not the crispy ones that would crack open under pressure or excessive bending. Certainly get the job done and last a long time.
