The electric cooktop functions as described. I have only been using it for about one month, but elements heat quickly and food cooks evenly. It fit perfectfully in the cut out from our last cooktop and was installed quickly. One thing to mention is that the cooktop has to be totally cooled down before applying the cleaner.

Was perfect for my aging mother in law, simple knobs to operate, red glow of the rings you don't get with hot plates. Great thing is there are no fancy touch sensor buttons, digital displays or sequences to follow that are so difficult for the elderly. Liked the childproof safety lock lights though. Love this
