Happy with this product and recommend it to others

I bought two under counter range hoods, one for my kitchen EMPV-30RH13 and one for my basement apartment kitchen EMPV-36RH14. I needed 500 CFM and low height to fit under low ceiling. Good features and price. It removes cooking smells well and is fairly quiet on low speed but the baffles do rattle a little. Instructions could be a little clearer with explanations and include an exploded parts diagram. I am happy with this product and recommend it to others after 6 weeks of regular use!

Installed in less than 30 minutes. Fit perfectly and very sturdy. It doesn't make alot of noise and works great. Love it and it looks very nice.

Exact fit for hood

I don't write reviews often, but this one has me mystified. Everything was exact, except cosmetically of course. Electrical knockout, mounting holes were exactly in the same place as the old one, making replacement very easy. Literally 20 minute installation and done.

Its a 36 inch stainless steel hood that does not have a duct, it fills in a space, it looks great, its perfect to add aesthetics to a kitchen. I highly recommend if youre looking for a way to make your kitchen look good on a budget.

Tried to purchase at local big box household store - 36 is special order size. Delivered in 3 days from Empava for same price! Unfortunately had to return first one as box came open due to carrier handling and the hood dad a huge dent in it. Empava replaced in 3 days with a perfect hood.

Where is the kit to convert it to recirc?
This is a convertible range hood. It can be used as a ducted range hood, together with an aluminum duct (included). It also provides a thick body and more space for adding carbon filters. If you want to use it as a ductless range hood, it can also fulfill your needs.
